Our On-Site Workshop – View our Tooling & Equipment
Based within our Lewes showroom, our TAG Heuer Authorised On-site watch workshop is fully equipped with some of the best watchmaking technology. We firmly believe in using only the highest quality tools and equipment. By doing so, combined with the expertise and experience of our watchmakers, you can be confident we will carry out an exceptional job. Please find a selection of our tooling and equipment outlined below.
Elma Solvex Cleaning Machine
A high quality, industry standard watch movement cleaning machine, the Elma Solvex RM has four separate cleaning jars and a drying chamber. Alongside this machine we also carry a vintage Elma Super Elite and a Grenier ACS 900 – a modern cleaning machine with ultrasonic capability.
Sigma Pressure Testing Machine
For “dry” pressure testing of watches we use a Sigma SM-8850 pressure testing machine, with the ability to test watches at up to 300m water resistance. This is a high pressure model of tester, and it is extremely reliable at testing a wide range of watches.
Lititz Diver 125BAR Wet Tester
This “wet” pressure tester is designed for testing watches at very high pressures, with a maximum rating of up to 1250m (125BAR). Alongside this machine we also have a lower pressure wet tester which we use primarily for leak finding.
Witschi Watch Expert IV
The Witchi Watch Expert IV is an excellent quality Swiss timing machine, used for testing and diagnosing faults in mechanical watches. This model is touchscreen, with an interactive microphone. It can test a wide range of watches, including vintage watches and modern watches with co-axial escapements.
Elma Watch Master Quartz Testing Machine
The Elma Watch Master is used for the testing and diagnosis of faults in quartz watches. There are a variety of different quartz testers available, but we find the Watch Master to be the most user friendly and it is highly accurate. Various tests can be conducted with this machine, including movement consumption, coil resistance and lower working voltage.
Bergeon Case Opening Tool
We use a Bergeon 5700 case opening tool. These tools are essential for opening many types of watch back, and the high-quality Bergeon Swiss version is the go-to tool for professional watch workshops. We can use the adjustable tool or many compatible dies and adaptors designed to fit various specific brands. This way we can ensure we open your case back without leaving a mark.
TAG Heuer Tools
As a TAG Heuer Authorised Workshop we carry a large range of tooling specific to TAG Heuer watches. This tooling include various tools for removing and fitting case tubes and pushers, as well as movement holders for specific TAG Heuer calibres.
Hand Tools
Alongside the larger pieces of equipment we have a broad range of high quality Swiss hand tools. These include a wide range of tweezers, screwdrivers and many other tools for specific purposes, both modern and vintage.
